2000 Ford E350 Walk In Box Cube Service Paint Tools +
Vehicle Description
2000 Ford E350 SD Service Painters Mechanic
Vehicle Description
This is a 2000 Ford E350 Super Duty (9600# GVWR) with an 11' walk-in Cube Box.
PLEASE SEE THE SISTER TO THIS TRUCK ALSO BEING AUCTIONED AT THIS TIME.
The Cube box is a step and walk-in type with bifold rear doors as pictured. The vehicle was previously used in fire prevention and extinguishing-type maintenance. It has many different types of locking cabinets, doors, and compartments perfect for storage of tools small and large, or for storing all sorts of painting equipment, etc.
The compartments are built perfectly for sorting of small tools, bolts/nuts/screws, keys, and for other storage and sorting of the larger apparatus. I have no key for the rear door lock, but a locksmith should be able to take care of that fairly easily. Again, all of the compartments have a turning latch to lock them in place while the vehicle is in motion. This vehicle would be great for any kind of painters, parts, or mobile service-type vehicle.
The box also has an exhaust fan in the rear, but I have removed all of the fire extinguisher apparatus below it to allow extra space. One can now store a dolly, buckets, stackables, or other large apparatus there.
The truck is powered by a 5.4L V-8 Triton Gas Engine and Automatic Transmission. The truck drove to Oklahoma from Wisconsin, and I drove it myself for much of the trip. It runs and drives well, and the Air Conditioner blows very cold. There is a leak in one of the exhaust manifolds that does not need to be repaired until colder weather hits. The only effect is a little bit of extra engine noise. I can get it replaced here for $ 150. This is a strong-running truck with a lot of life remaining in its drivetrain. It also got pretty good mileage for a vehicle of its class (around 12MPG at 70MPH and AC going).
The tires are off-road type, and are nearly new as pictured. The cab interior could use a minor detail, but it is straight, and the seats and floormats are all in good shape. There is some rust and paint flaked and peeling off or gone underneath both doors and in the fender wells, and the door and hinge apparatus in the rear of the box are rusty as well. There is no place that I have noticed the rust as eaten through or compromised the integrity of the vehicle. I would guess it to be very typical of a vehicle run up in Wisconsin in the salted winter roads.
I am selling this truck as is, with all of its faults, and with no warranty expressed or implied. I have tried to describe it to the best of my ability. This is a good truck capable of great service to someone in need. I have provided plenty of photos that should highlight most everything mentioned in my description.
The truck sits here in Oologah, Oklahoma (Northeast OK). I reserve the right to remove this truck from this auction in case of local sale, but I will not do so within 24 hours of the auction's end. That is not fair to the bidders. One should not be afraid at all to drive this truck or its sister (also being auctioned) some distance to its destination. I and my driver drove both of them long distance ourselves with no trouble whatsoever.
PLEASE CHECK OUT THE SISTER TO THIS TRUCK also being currently auctioned. It is also a very good vehicle. Buy one, or buy them both, sell one when you no longer need it, and have very little remaining in the first one. No reserve on either auction - these can be bought very right !
